I plugged the radio in and the radio does power on (the tubes lit up) but I did not hear any hum or static. I have not tested the 4 tubes either. My guess is that it just needs a minor adjustment or perhaps some of the wiring has come loose? Please be sure to preview all of the pictures so that you can determine the condition for yourself. The cathedral wood cabinet is nice and solid. There are some minor scratches and imperfections in the finish, like you might expect on a piece from this era. All of the knobs/dials seem to be working as they should be. The interior/chassis looks good and pretty clean. There is a newer AC power cord which leads me to believe that the radio does work. Please be sure to view my other auctions as I have several other vintage radios for sale as well! I apologize for the glare, from the sun, on some of the pictures. It was a beautiful day outside!
