This old Silvertone tube radio measures 15 ½ x 12 ½ x 9 inches. The case is veneer wood and with the exception of the missing veneer to the front in the center at the bottom. There are no other missing pieces of veneer. There are a few age cracks to the veneer on the upper right hand corner. We have pictured for one to evaluate. The overall condition of the case in my opinion is very good and shows typical light wear. This radio when plugged in (I believe the plug to be of the period and original) powers up and does make a humming noise. I tried to adjust several knobs and frequency and was not able to get any radio stations, but varying levels of static. Not really certain what the “magic Eye” does, so I cannot say of this is in working order. Overall, a really nice old radio which is just begging for someone to bring it back to life.
