The radio, having 2 IF stages, is extremely sensitive and operates great on all 5 bands – 4 SW and 1 BC having antenna attached. Noice suppression switch and potentiometer operate correctly, and so does the shadow meter. Controls operate smooth w/o any scratching noise. Dual speed tuning works flawlessly.
