This transmitter is in very good cosmetic condition. The faceplate looks terrific and the cabinet shows little wear. I’m not a Drake guy, but from what I can tell it’s original and unmodified. We powered it up and the tube filaments illuminated. Beyond that, no testing has been done. As you can see in the photos, we are including a copy of the original user manual. This equipment came from the estate of a ham operator and has been tucked away in a storage unit for approximately 15 years. We have not done any testing beyond what is specifically mentioned above. There are a few reasons for this, but it essentially comes down to the fact that they almost always need some level of service and it’s simply not cost effective to pay our technician to spend time going through them.
