Vintage Motorola Golder Voice Tube Radio Model 56L2 1950′s Apple Red! There are a couple of scratches/blips in the cosmetic outer shell, there is also grime which can be easily scrubbed off. The inside of the box has no damage I have removed a bunch of the dirt and is in a good condition for being this remarkably old.

Vintage 1954 His Masters Voice HMV Bakelite Radio Long Wave & Medium Wave. Vintage 1954 His Masters Voice HMV Bakelite Radio Long Wave & Medium Wave -Tube. This is in excellent condition. It seems to be in working order. When switched on a white noise sound comes through the speakers. I was unable to tune it to a station. The radio casing is made from Bakelite with a conker, brown coloured finish. The Bakelite has acquired a mild patina through time and use. The top of the radio has the “His Masters Voice” logo of the little dog by a gramophone. There is also a by Royal appointment stamp, to the top. The front panel and speaker are made from cream coloured Bakelite, which is in excellent condition. There are also three tuning and control knobs, also Bakelite, to the front. These are intact and are in excellent condition. The tuning dial panel is glass with coloured markings. This is intact and in excellent condition. Underneath it is marked: His Master’s Voice. The back panel of the radio can be removed to access the tubes, valves etc. Width: 42cm (16 1/2). If you have any questions please let me know. His Masters Voice Vintage Stereogram Radio and Record Player. This item has been tested and we were able to tune in several radio stations. The record player turntable does not move as a result of a small rubber wheel, running between the motor and the turntable, being worn away over time. This appears to be an easy repair for someone who knows where to source the correct part. The record player was subsequently shown to function when turntable is rotated manually. The unit appears to have Short Wave radio among other bands. There are some areas of cosmetic wear as is to be expected with a unit of this age but in all it is in reasonable condition. The Radio Corporation of America made many mid-century radios, this pre-war beauty features a nicely marbleized brown bakelite cabinet with molded raised lines in the streamlined style. The foil dial face is super clean with original dial pointer. This example has the seldom seen dial face with the RCA dog “His Master’s Voice” logo. See this link for this more info on this famous logo. This is a model #45-X-11 made circa 1940 just before World War II. Cabinet is in excellent condition with a nice louvered front and classic “D” dial. Power cord, weak tubes and capacitors have been replaced. Radio measures approximately10″W x 7″H x 7D. A very nice example of this pre-War RCA radio. The case does not have any cosmetic issues like cracks, chips or hairline cracks, only a few light scratches. The radio is playing fine, with no annoying filter hum.
