Vintage 1924 RCA Balanced Amplifier for Radiola III Receiver Very Nice

Our feedback speaks for itself. Vintage 1924 RCA Balanced Amplifier. The tubes have open filaments and are for display only. The transformers do have continuity. There are no chips or cracks on the face and the lettering is very nice. The case is solid and very nice looking too. The cable flags are there. This is an early version run and not many were made. Designed to be a companion amplifier for the Radiola III receiver. The pictures tell the rest of the story and are part of the cosmetic description so please take a close look at them. You will receive the item(s) pictured. We don’t mess around. We use new boxes and bubble wrap for packing. This leaves no mess in your office and you can just toss them when cleaning up. I will strive for positive five-star feedback from you by describing the item accurately, packing item so it will arrive safely and then sending you the tracking information when the item ships all of which we will do. Tube testers we use but are not limited to. Triplett 3444 laboratory grade with a digital milliamp meter. Rebuilt with precision calibration by CG Industries in October 2015. Used for testing and matching pre-amp and power tubes. TV-7B/U Military tube tester with a digital readout meter that can measure plate current. Rebuilt and calibrated by Dan Nelson in April 2017. Used for testing rectifiers and radio tubes. Used for finding that troublesome shorted or leaky tube. Custom built and used for warming up and stabilizing pre-amp and power tubes. Vintage Air King AM/SW Radio SKY KING Model 725 VERY RARE & RESTORED

This very rare 1937 Sky King model is a real gem of a find. With clean geometric lines and walnut cabinet, it has a great style and appeal. The green magic eye tuning tube with the “diver’s helmet” cover also adds to its desirableness. Add to that great sound from a large speaker and tone control for your listening preference, and you have quite a treat for the eyes and ears! I cannot find another like it on the internet! The cabinet is in excellent condition at 81 years old. The original stain was preserved. It was cleaned and rejuvenated. The trim was redone with brown mahogany toners, then the entire cabinet was given six coats of clear lacquer. Finally, it was hand waxed to further bring out the beauty of the wood. The dial face is in excellent condition with crisp, clean graphics and nicely lit from two bulbs. The bakelite knobs are original. The grill cloth and dial cover are replacements. The power cord is new, using the original bakelite plug. Electronically, the chassis was restored, cleaned and serviced, with all paper and electrolytic capacitors replaced. Tubes and resistors were replaced as needed. All controls and contacts were detail cleaned and lubricated. Wiring and other components replaced as needed. The radio was aligned, peaked and tuned for optimal reception and quality of sound using an external antenna. This radio just radiates a bygone era of sitting and listening as evening falls, the soft glow of the dial and green magic eye soothing while being entertained for hours. With six tubes and large speaker, it really pulls in the signals and produces a rich quality sound. It is a must for a collector and a charming accent piece and certainly a conversation piece for someone with a eye for great vintage beauty and style. Its comprehensive restoration will allow this radio to last at least another 81 years. Dimensions: 18.5×11.5×8.5. Up for offer Vintage 1930s small RCA cathedral tube radio. I could not pull the chassis because the dial knob is stuck I did not what to force it off. The radio works it came from a lot that a radio and TV repairman had in his collection judging from the condition and the way it plays a believe it was restored but the chassis is stuck in the radio I can verify that it is restored. The cabinet is in great condition just a few small chips and a small crack in the veneer on the side. The radio has two globe tubes 42 Cunningham and a 280 Radiotron. The antenna is very touchy you have to move the connection to get a good signal. Measurements 9 1/2″ wide 6 1/2″ deep 11 1/2 high Thanks for looking! Vintage Globe Radio Model 559 Metal Standing Horse (1948) VERY RARE & Restored

This Globe novelty radio is highly collectible by both horse lovers and radio collectors. Quite rare, this horse statue radio has been electronically restored and works great, using the body of the horse as an antenna. With a wooden case, the saddled horse is very majestic with attention to detail. The original patina remains, with only a light cleaning done. With copper and dark colors, the display of the musculature of the horse is stunning. The on/off/volume control and tuner knobs are the original wooden ones. The radio electronics were restored to working order. The wood cabinet was cleaned, polished and waxed. There is a crack on the top of the cabinet that can be seen in the photos. The horse had two broken left lower legs, which have been repaired. The stirrup on the left side was broken off. Nonetheless, it still presents very well. The chassis was cleaned, serviced and all of the paper/wax capacitors were replaced. Tubes and resistors were replaced as needed. The radio was aligned, peaked and tuned for maximum reception using the internal (horse) antenna. The radio picks up stations well and sounds decent for the small size of it. This horse radio should be displayed in a place of distinction in your collection or decor. Dimensions: 12.5×13,5×4.5.
