Up for sale is a VINTAGE 1920′S CHICAGO METRO ELECTRIC CO. This comes as you see it in great condition for it’s age. Cone on back has some staining as shown but no cracks or rips that i see. Cord has wear as shown and is recommended to be replaced the bottom felt came off can be glued back on. It looks like bottom says No. Very nice piece that will display nicely on top of an old radio. This model doesn’t come up for sale very often. This will be professionally packaged up at UPS.

DICTOGRAND HORN SPEAKER WITH A DEAD DRIVER. GREAT LOOKING UNIT WITH A 10 & 1/2 BRASS BELL. THE BASE IS 7″ X 5″. UNIT STAND 13 HIGH. THE DRIVER IS DEAD. HOWEVER, REPLACING IT SHOULD BE FAIRLY EASY. TWO SCREWS OPEN THE BASE. JUST PUT A NEW DRIVER IN AND YOU SHOULD BE IN BUSINESS. THE ONLY FEATURE THAT WILL BE MISSING WILL BE THE VOLUME CONTROL THAT HOOKS DIRECTLY INTO THE DICTOGRAND DRIVER. CONDITION: NON-WORKING UNIT WITH LITE TO MODERATE WEAR. SALE OF THIS SPEAKER IS RESTRICTED TO THE 48 CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES. No reserve, Great Find! We specialize in 16 & 35mm equipment & film. Vintage RCA model 103 loudspeaker, that is in good working condition. Unit has been plugged into a few period radios that were functioning and the speaker performed well. Tapestry is in good condition, with a few frayed areas and minor holes, but it still presents well. The repwood frame has a crack in the center of the base, but is still intact. The cloth wire is missing most of the outer layer and the patch cord pins are present, but they are secured with some electrical tape. Perfect speaker for your vintage Radiola or Atwater Kent radio. Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.
