This is a Model 284 Red and Yellow Catalin Radio that is in working condition. It is missing one knob and makes loud interference noises but has a light under the volume knob. There is a crack in the side that has been repaired. There are some scratches on the case but the finish is overall very nice. The back cover is not original. This radio looks GREAT! It is unrestored and in original and COMPLETE condition. The radio turns on, adjusts, and works very well. The shell is in BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL condition with a rich butterscotch 2 tone swirl and a shiny finish. The knobs and radio dial look great. The back looks great and so does the original cord. It measures 11″ long by 8″ tall and 7 deep. A nice addition to your collection–in COLLECTOR’S condition. If you have any questions, please contact me. Vintage 1940′s Sentinel Catalin Tube Radio Model 284-NA. It was bought and packed away for over 20 years and just pulled out of storage. It is in the condition that it was bought in and is untested. It is AS IS. The glass dial plate is missing and the cord has been cut, but otherwise it looks intact. It has not been worked on or tampered with in at least 20 years. No apparent damage to the case, the dial works, and the volume clicks to turn off and on like it is supposed to. See photos for more information.
