This is a Sentinel Radio Model 345 Series A Vintage 1950s – Red – Bakelite? Body looks in good condition as well as interior. No cracks that I can see. Nice deep red color. I plugged in and turned on but couldn’t get any power. I don’t know if I needed another battery that connects to the inside wires?

THIS IS IN NEAR PERFECT CONDITION EXCEPT ON THE VERY BOTTOM THERE IS A LARGE CHIP (SEE LAST PICTURE) / LUCKILY ITS ON THE BOTTOM BACK SO YOU WONT NOTICE IT ON A SHELF / PLUGGED IT IN AND IT LIGHTS UP THE DIALS TURN NICELY BUT THERE IS ONLY A LOUD HUM, I COUNLD NOT GET ANY STATIONS. Both knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well. The power cord is also new and in excellent condition. The bakelite body is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Unique design with the chassis installed upside down in the body. The rear cardboard panel is a new replacement. Great looking radio that will be a fine addition to your collection. Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.
