Turn Table seems to function as it should. I don’t have any 78s but it played a 45. Sounded like the Chipmunks but I guess that makes sense. AS-IS, PARTS OR REPAIR. This has been tested but I could not get it working properly with the radio or record player. It powered on, the light came on and some of the tubes lit up. It made a steady hum noise after the tubes heated up. I could not get any sound out of the speakers with either radio or record player. The turntable would spin and the tone arm would auto-lower into position. The turntable motor was quite noisy while operating. No further testing has been done. The cabinet has several scuff marks, scratches and signs of wear from storage and use. The power cord is worn and damaged, a large section of it is cracking and brittle. The knobs are in very good condition. Overall, the unit is in decent condition for the age. Please review all photos closely, they are of the actual product you will receive. Up For Action is this Vintage 1950′s RCA Victor New Orthophonic High Fidelity 45 Rpm Record Player. It is a Model 7-hf-45. This is a tube type record player in nice original condition. Please see the photos as too condition and markings. It is in very nice condition with no real damage. It has some scratches on the case and the cloth over the speaker in the front has come loose. This would be a nice piece to restore the player is complete everything is cosmetic. This is a very neat record player. Estate or yard sales so I do not know if they come from a smoke or pet free home. Be sure to ask questions if you have any concerns because I try my hardest to make this a good experience for you.
