1941-42 Antique Tube Radio. Sears Roebuck & Co. Very nice wood Art Deco case in walnut. All knobs in tact. Minor marks and wear to be expected for age/use. Dims: 14.5″h x 16.5″w x 9.5d. Condition: Not plugged in, cord is not in good condition. We have done our best to describe this radio to the best of our ability. The Green Scene Antiques. VINTAGE c1941 SILVERTONE RADIONET R1181 WOOD TABLETOP TUBE BUTTON RADIO -WORKS

Circa 1941 Sears, Roebuck Silvertone wood case radio model R1181, 15″ tall, 16 1/2″ wide, 10 1/2 deep, grille cloth, pair of dials and six push buttons. Has a built in loop antenna. Turning the dial moves the station indicator and the push buttons also work to change channels. Has Short Wave(s) and Police settings but didn’t hear anything from those. Magic eye tube feature is present but never had it indicating a solid station connection so I can’t say if it was working. The wood finish looks original but someone thinks its not but its in very nice condition with only minor marks, the curved corners are such a signature of the later Art Deco design. Looks like the former owner took great care of this old model. Has one small break or crack at the right hand base of the plastic surround the push buttons (see close-up).
