The Vintage RCA Victor 16T3 Tube Radio is a classic piece from 1938, featuring a push-button console for easy tuning. Made by RCA in the United States, this radio combines retro charm with functional features. It is in working condition pulling in several stations. There is a slight hum and some static. A good tuning maintenance would help clear up any noise. The dim bulb tester is showing no shorts in the electrical. With some wear like scratches on the case but overall still in really good condition.

Offered here is an original Philco 40-135, a 1940 wooden tabletop tube radio featuring factory push-button tuning, warm pre-war styling, and classic Philco craftsmanship. This model is popular with collectors and restorers due to its elegant cabinet lines and reliable chassis design. Cabinet: Original wood cabinet with attractive grain and gentle patina. Exhibits normal age-related wear-light scuffs, finish blemishes, or small marks-but retains solid structural integrity. The plastic covering the dial has been removed because of the typical yellowing and shrinkage. There are resources on the internet for making (and possibly purchasing) replacements. Electro Magnetic Dynamic LS (moving-coil with field excitation coil). 2 W (unknown quality). Plastics (no bakelite or catalin). Model: 529 or 529A [12A8] – Crosley Radio Corp. Tablemodel with Push Buttons. Crosley used this model number twice for quite different built models. This new version shares the same Rider’s schematic in volume 11 (the old version in 7) for Crosley model 519 and 529. Available in Ivory, Red, Blue or Tan at slight additional cost. Please look up common information here for this season. There are two models 529 – an old one from around 1936 and this new one from around 1939 shown in Rider’s volume 11. POWER SUPLY HAS 2 X EZ81 RECTIFIER TUBES. BUT DUE TO AGE IT MAY REQUIRE SOME KIND OF REPAIR OR UPGRADE, POSSIBLY TUNER RE-ALIGNEMENT, OR BETTER TUBES OR WHAT-EVER. It plays well with excellent tone range, no hum, and dial lights, tuner and station preset push-buttons working as intended. A length of wire is included that extends the antenna lead. In the electronic restoration, all components were checked with any weak or defective ones replaced, which included 2 tubes, all paper and filter capacitors, 1 resistor, volume control switch, power cord, speaker and output transformer. Tuning circuits were aligned. Veneer was repaired as required. The favorite station push-buttons are set from the back with a small screwdriver; the far-right push-button engages manual tuning using the knob on the right. The wood finish displays nicely, as the pictures show. The set has original knobs, push-buttons, dial and the original grill cloth and the dimensions: 12 1/2″ wide x 8 1/2″ high x 6 1/2 deep. This model didn’t come with a back cover. Every vintage tube radio I sell has been thoroughly serviced – tubes tested, components checked and then the unit is lubricated and cleaned inside and out. The work performed can be seen in the pictures of the chassis and/or found in the radio description.
