Part of the L & T are missing from the logo. 3 scratches on the clock face. Not the original knobs, but I think the marbled ones are much nicer. Both the radio & clock work. This is not painted red, but rather is solid styrene plastic. The original knobs and cardboard back are also in good shape and the bottom label with tube layout is complete. The insides are complete and there is only a hum when turned on. This is a radio that will easily stand out in your mid-century collection, about 9″W x 5-1/2″H.
For your consideration an Electrohome tabletop 5 tube radio – model P-103 manufactured in the early 1950′s. The speaker is loud and clear – the radio brings in a lot of stations. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy – the sound is very good with no hum This radio looks good – the blue restored cabinet has been coated with a scratch resistant high-end vinyl product. As with all my radios it is electrically fit – the tubes are strong and all of the original wax/paper capacitors have been replaced. Also featuring: classic 50′s body styling: a sunken grill with the logo inside; the numbers on the large white tuning knob are good replacements. The cord has been replaced with a polarized plug and it has its original back with a loop antenna. The measurements are:10.5″ across, 6″ high and 5 wide. This radio will continue to give years of good service. Every radio I sell has been thoroughly serviced – tubes tested, components checked and then the unit is lubricated and cleaned inside and out. The work performed can be seen in the pictures of the chassis and/or found in the radio description.
