Here’s a very rare find, a 1940′s Pilot T-601 radio with the original box and manual! The cord is still pliable like it’s new! I have not plugged it in and will not attempt to, the new owner can decide on that! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Work that was recently done includes. All electrolytic and paper caps replaced. Many out-of-spec resistors replaced. Selenium rectifier replaced with modern silicon diode plus power resistor. Receives and sounds very good! Has some cosmetic issues, inspect photos closely. Further description and circuit diagram freely available online. This model T601 Pilotuner is an FM receiver only, without an audio amplifier or speaker. It is designed to connect to your separate audio amplifier just like any line level component. Single channel- not stereo! Approx dimensions: 8.75 x 7 x 6 inch / 222 x 178 x 152 mm. Made in USA circa 1947 by Pilot Electric Mfg Co (Radio Corp) Brooklyn NY.
