I obtained about 80 tube radios from an estate sale. I will be listing these over the next few weeks so please see my other listings. THE ONLY ONE LISTED OF THIS MODEL AND COLOR! Very early portable “boom box”. The original back cover is still with the radio. All original knobs are still there and not missing. No cracks or chips. The grill is in good shape with no dings. The cord should be replace as it has one worn spot. The radio has not been plugged in/tested due to this. The radio sits nice and flat with no wobble. The top handle is still nice and strong. Couple small signs of age on top chrome pieces. The insides are clean as seen in pictures. These radios are highly collectable and are getting harder to find online. On the right side on the curved parts are some mild to medium humps and bumps from possible warping and one crack in the wood, didnt feel it form the inside of the radio the warping. Some of the cloth is off of the cord and the cardboard insert of the plug, didn’t see any bare wires though. The front cloth is in great shape. Some wear to the felt circles on the bottom of the radio. Some cracking in the wood on the bottom. The radio got a clear station, one other wanted to come in but think it needs a antenna. At first I plugged it in and waited for 5 minutrs, got alot of screeching then got a clear channel on #40. After I played it for 20 minutes, I went back to the station and it came in every time.

Vintage zenith #6R631 tube radio. Okay I was able to let this radio warm up for about 30 seconds and after playing with the push buttons I did get a radio station to tune in the buttons are finicky the dial moves across the face of the radio but is slow and hesitant to bring in stations must play with the push buttons on the right side but I did get one station to tune in and the volume control worked well there is a little bit of background noise but normal with these older radios.
