This is an awesome little Emerson “Emersonette” model 540A in ivory white. This unit powers on and has a hum, but I couldn’t get any reception. Has a small chip in the back bottom right corner. This is an awesome little Emerson “Emersonette” model 540A in red. I plugged it in, but I couldn’t get any sound out of it at all. Has a small chip with a hairline coming from it in the back top left corner, and a hairline from the back top right corner going to the front. This table top model radio came from an estate sale in Ohio, and it is in beautiful condition. I do not know much about vintage radios, but this mini-model is just awesome looking. I would have to say that it was professionally restored, because it just looks that good. It measures 6.25 x 4.75 x 3.5 inches. I believe that this radio was manufactured around 1947.
