Features include: headphone jack, S-Meter, antenna trimmer, RF Gain control, dial lamp, circular logging scale. Noise limiter, mute, tone control. And hinged top cover. 7 tubes and 3 Diodes. I could only hear sound out of one speaker. Both speakers did work years ago but Ive had it in storage and now only 1 works. May only be good for parts. Electrical cord has damage where it goes into the radio (see photos). Just noticed the tone knob is cracked and partly missing where goes into the radio to attach to the metal turning rod. It still turns and you dont notice this unless you pull out the knob. Needs cleaning and repair. Tape measure in photos. PLEASE NOTE: BUYERS MUST REQUEST A COMBINED INVOICE BEFORE PAYING. You just need to COMMUNICATE and let me know you are still shopping. Please also remember that most, if not all my items, are vintage and have had a previous life before I acquired them, so I have no absolute way of knowing if they come from a smoke free or pet free home. This is a beautiful, rare, vintage 1950s Zenith H 845 retro Tube Radio S-53555 High Fidelity, Model H845.. The unit is in great vintage condition with normal wear. From age and use including scratches and marks, see photos. The knobs all turn great and the tuning dial moves as it should, string is intact. Has been plugged in and Radio works on many different stations. It has a Zenith Wavemagnet attached to the top, I think it is a kind of antennae, plugged it in, but don’t know what it is supposed to do… One wire on back of wavemagnet. The tube does not work, it is defective. Was tested by someone on a transmitter and did not work – possibly the fault transmitter? I do not have the original packaging or documents. Look carefully at all the pictures. I checked with the ohmmeter. Filament = short circuit. On the scale of 200 Megaohms. Filament + grid = infinite resistance. Filament + anode = infinite resistance.
