The product is a high-end vintage German Siemens radio, manufactured in Germany. This classic tube radio from the 1950s is a collector’s item for enthusiasts of historical electronics. The Siemens brand is known for its quality and durability, adding to the appeal of this unique piece of vintage audio history. With its retro design and historical significance, this radio is a must-have for any collector of vintage radios or German electronics. Radio turns on, recommend replacing the cord. Message me with any questions.
Radio weighs almost 15 lbs. Dimensions approximately: 16″ x 10″ x 8. It seems to have grounding issues because when I touch the metal needle turning dial the static noise changes. The knob on the left that is cracked might not be turning to the different FM stations.

Please visit my website at www. Oldradiogarage for more radios, parts and accessories. This will NOT alter the circuitry of this radio. The radio is clean, attractive and functional. It powers up and looks great when the dial indicator glows. THIS RADIO PICKS UP ONLY A FEW STATIONS IN MY AREA. Your area may produce better results. They also require a long wire antenna. This unit comes with one installed on the back. You may need to add to it and run it along the walls of a room at floor level. The plastic dial cover and speaker grill cloth have been replaced. The wood cabinet has been lightly sanded and protected. My “restoration philosophy” is to preserve as much of the original finish and strip to bare wood only when necessary. Therefore you will still see some of the patina and wear and tear that has developed on this radio over the course of it’s 80 plus year old history The controls have been cleaned and lubricated. The electronics have been thoroughly gone over. All paper and electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents and every resistor has been checked and replaced if found to be defective. Any brittle wiring has been replaced. The pots have been cleaned with CDC contact cleaner. Each tube has been tested and replaced if weak or defective. A new reproduction band belt was installed to ensure no slippage from the tuning control. Nothing has been done to this radio that is not described here. THIS IS NOT A FULLY RESTORED RADIO but rather an original vintage item that has been inspected and repaired as necessary to make it functional. As with all of my radios, I have played this radio for hours several days a week before I put it up for sale. I do my best to describe every item in detail. Please look over the photos and contact me with any questions.
Radio hums, but I was able to tune in several stations. Cabinet has some finish issues, and the top needs some glue. Dial belt is broken and needs replaced.
