Up for listing is this Vtg Antique 1920′s RCA Radiola 26 Portable Tube Radio Super Heterodyne Cabinet. Comes with one spare tube not plugged in. Item is untested, does have batteries but they appear to be dead and I do not know where to locate others. Cabinet alone looks amazing, and this is a truly special piece. VINTAGE RCA RADIOLA 24 PORTABLE HETERODYNE 1925

For sale is very rare RCA Radiola 24 Portable Heterodyne made in 1925 with a suitcase style case. Only 7079 were manufactured. It has a rotating antenna, a built-in loud speaker with batteries inside. The outside finish is very shiny – the wood in excellent condition. All knobs are present. Case is made of black cowhide. Case is in very good condition – the handle is intact. This radio has been stored for 20 years – I assume that it needs new batteries. Just a note: The back and front of the case are in the same condition – see photos of one of the sides. I reached the limit of photos and was unable to show the other side of the case. VINTAGE GREBE TOMBSTONE SUPER HETERODYNE RADIO. PLEASE SEE ALL THE PICTURES. USE SUPERSIZE OPTION TO SEE MORE DETAILS. Please analyze the pictures. They are part of description, so use supersize option to judge all the details for yourself. Cosmetically, the radio cabinet is in good, solid condition overall. It looks like finish is original, but needs to re-done so radio will look great again. There are some wear spots of the finish, small scratches and one small area where the veneer is cracked and needs some repairs here (see image where I pointed to it). Dating from the 1920′s, radio appears to be complete with all 6 tubes present. Walnut cabinet in nice shape with varnish pretty much intact. Unit not tested as it needs special batteries. Radio measures 14″ high, 13″ wide and 9 deep. Vintage Philco Model 90 Super Heterodyne Cathedral Radio/Original Finish

Vintage philco model 90 super heterodyne cathedral radio/original finish. Please closely read the description, don’t just look at the pictures. Up for sale is this vintage 1931 philco model 90 cathedral radio. It looks to be in its original condition. The radio does power up with the indicator light lit but the chassis makes a sizzling noise so i quickly turn it off. No picture of the light on because i didn’t want to leave it on that long. The cord is the original cloth covered cord. The knobs are original and turn freely. As you can see from the pictures there are two screws missing that hold the chassis in the case. The speaker grill cloth is original with no holes in it. The grill cloth does show its age though. It looks and feels like the dark spot has melted to the support backing. The case seems really solid and the finish on the case is good (but not perfect) and the cabinet does have some scratches on it due to age. Note the veneer age cracks in the front top half, these are not loose, these are just character marks (examine pictures well). There is a deeper scratch on the right front foot. (see picture) i have taken “howards” to the whole radio and then waxed it. The radio measures about 18 1/2″ tall x 17 1/4″ at the base and 12 deep at the base. See how close you are to interstate 90 or 80 as that is how we’ll be traveling. Anything is possible just ask. This is too nice a radio to just double box the whole thing, wrap it in bubble wrap and away it goes. Work with me on this so it can get to you in the condition its in now. More packages more cost. Also as i noted its a heavy old radio.. This should be a treasured radio for someones collection.
