Mid Century Modern design. Condition: the radio powers on, but couldn’t tune into channels. There are a few surface scratches on the cabinet, but no cracks. The top button for the alarm has a split in it, as you can see in the photos. The face of the clock and radio is in good condition. All knobs are present. Beautiful General Electric Model H-610 Radio. This Pre-War Radio Is in Superb Condition -Near Mint!! With the Spectacular Bakelite Marbling Throughout the Cabinet AND. Including the Marbleized Bakelite Back Cover –RARE. Radio Looks and Sounds Terrific. Light is Bright on the Dial. Dial Glass is slightly bent on bottom, but can’t really. Tell, but thought I’d mention it. Fill the Room with Music with this Beautiful Sound. This is an Eye Turner and Conversation Piece. What a Great Way to get your Morning News as Well! Little Radio with a Big sound. Measures 10 1/2″ W x 7 1/2″ D x 7 T. Out of all the Radios I have been listing of the 300+. This is the one I had plugged in all the time listening to it. Sad to say goodbye, but I have many more. I will be listing over 300 Vintage and Antique Radios from a Collection. Radios from the 20′s 30′s 40′s 50′s 60′s 70′s some 80′s. I would say most are from 50′s 60′s. Conditions include Parts or Repair, Fair, Good, Excellent, and even Superb to Mint Condition. Some are Rare to Extremely Rare. It will take some time to list them all as I try to. Test each one of them to give a more accurate description.

See photos of the underside to see what has been done. 2 Small cracks in the Ivory case. Measures 12 x 8 x 7.5 inches. Please see photos for condition. MCM Vintage 1950s GE General Electric Model 400 Purple Bakelite Tube Radio READ. Radio is a very rare purple color in decent shape However the left rear corner has been damaged and has a piece of Bakelite missing. In addition there is a crack in the bottom and several small scratches and spots on exterior from age and use. Radio turns on and I was able to get 1 radio station to come in but there was static and hard to understand. Please see photos for details and measurements I HAVE NOT Opened up the rear so I have no idea of the inside condition back is a little loose from case.

When plugged in The radio tubes buzz, the clock second hand works and the hands do turn with the time, I did not leave it plugged in long enough to time it. The volume and tuning nobs work (turn) and the tuning nob makes the indicator move. This piece is a great collectible piece to restore it did not work I did not leave it plugged in long as the cords plastic coating has hardened and I felt it needed to be checked out before use. Please see photos for the cosmetic condition, the case is solid with no breaks.
