Up for your consideration is. I just pulled these from a trashed out cabinet. The unit operated but the radio had a 60 cycle hum so the preamp will need to be rebuilt and recapped. I would also do that to the 510K Amp for optimal and safe operation. Nice clean combo that comes with the plate from the cabinet and the original loop antenna, just in case someone would want or need it. Power cord is compromised/spliced and needs to be replaced as pictured! Item will be packed for war for safe arrival! TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE. Your satisfaction is my goal. Pictures tell story on this Beautifully restored Arvin 444 Mid 40′s chrome 4 tube radio. Condition as good as it gets. A stunning radio that you would be hard pressed to find a Better EXAMPLE ANYWHERE. Working but these weren’t stellar performers to start with but plays with attached antennae wire. Due to fickleness and age of these radios cant guarantee working condition but shouldn’t be a problem as I pack very well.. Thanks and good luck. What a clean antique Neutrowound model 1926 radio! And with the original reproducer speaker, how common is that? Everything is in beautiful cosmetic condition with all six chrome caps present. Some very light pitting to the chrome, but nothing major. The grille cloths on the speaker have a few holes on one side and have gotten bunched up on the other (see photos). Six tubes come with the radio, although they are untested as well; what you see in the photos is what you will receive. For sale is a Very Rare BLUE NEUTROWOUND 1927 Breadboard TUBE RADIO. Own a part of HISTORY with this 90 year old radio! The Neutrowound model 1927 was introduced in June of 1926. The Neutrowound company began manufacturing radios in 1924 and lasted for five years. Most Neutrowound radios are black but this one is blue in color with orange webbing. This lovely unit is in good original condition, (see pictures). All of the knobs turn free as they should. It measures 33 3/4″ long by 6″ tall by 9 wide. It is made out of metal, painted blue with orange webbing, very low rectangular case with 3 top raised dial areas, 7 knobs, BC, 6 tubes with top caps (one missing) & is a battery set. This is a very nice art deco era blue Neutrowound tube Radio and would make an awesome addition to any collection, it would also make a very nice gift idea as well. This is a very hard to find blue and chrome model. Please closely examine the photos, this unit was found at an estate and had been in storage for some time. The interior needs obvious cleaning. This is completely untested and appears to be an excellent candidate for parts or for a restoration project.
