The model is a 15HF1 and was made in the USA. This is a unit that was originally in an Admiral Console. The radio is used and does have some wear from previous use and old age. I was not able to fully test the radio, but when I plug it in, it seems that all the tubes light up and glow. The radio is very clean including the chrome. There is almost no rust and cosmetically is in excellent condition! Check out the photos for a more detailed view of the items condition, the photos are also a part of the item description. THE TUNING KNOB TUNRS THE STATION GRAPHIC WITHOUT MUCH EFFORT. THIS CHASSIS DROVE TWO SPEAKERS — ONE 12″ AND ONE AIMED TOWARD THE FLOOR WHICH WAS A 7 & 1/2″. Vintage Zenith Model 8-S-154 radio chassis, that is perfect for a restoration project. The sound is strong and crisp. Chassis is very clean and free of rust and corrosion. The dial mechanism is not working, as the rubber pulley is missing. The dial glass is in great condition, but detached from the dial itself. It will be wrapped and placed in a separate box, within the main package. Power cord is spliced and should be replaced. Four chassis bolts- 2 original are included. Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.
