Vintage Mid Century 1937 Crosley “Fiver” Tube Radio Untouched and Working Everything Original. Antique Crosley “Fiver” 517 tube radio. This is an untouched model and comes with all original parts. I hooked up an inexpensive antenna (does not come with antenna) and was able to hear several stations but with a fair amount of static. This was an estate sale find, and the light inside the dial works as do each knob. Here is some general information about this radio. Crosley produced several versions of the “Fiver” (five tubes inside) in the late 30′s, and this Model 517 profile is in the shape of a small tombstone. These sets are known for a round brass trimmed dial scale with a mirrored background to give a 3D effect when looking closely. Cabinet shows its age with its attractive wood grain, grille bars, grille cloth, and stylized knobs. Vintage 1954 Stewart Warner Model 9182-C CONLRAD Mid Century Atomic Radio 2 Tone. This is a cool radio! Great MCM Atomic look. Powers but only buzzes. NO cracks, chips or scratches in the plastic. Looks to be complete. Some scratches & light wear in the original tan paint. Tan paint (still shinny) over brown plastic. The knobs and dial pointer are orange (original). The dial pointer does not move all the way with the knob (string is probably loose on the inside). A little dusty inside with a hint of cigarette smell. Measures 12 x 7 x 7 inches. 1947 Emerson Model 547A Green Marble Plastic Radio. This is a seldom seen color with catalin-like appearance and displays very nicely. The radio is not working, probly needs new tubes, it turns on but even after a few minutes the radio can’t get a signal. The light turns on too. With all old radios, the capacitors should be replaced. A few rubs, marks that come with age but overall really cool looking! The radio still has its original rear cover with no extra holes. The radio has its original knobs and they function as they should. Please see alll pics, This scarce color radio will be a very nice addition to your plastic radio collection. This just in from collectors estate. Plugged in and it works. The tag says it was serviced in 2017 and got some caps. It tunes, gets stations and sounds great. The only flaw I found, was when turned all the way down, there is still a slight sound of station playing. The cabinet has no cracks, very nice. Might want to polish or deep clean the cabinet, I did not want to touch it. This would make a great movie prop or displayed in a pink kitchen. Final sale, as found, thank you.
