Vintage 1920s 1930s PLA-MOR Tube Radio Detrola D. R. Co Chassis 104

Vintage PLA-MOR tube radio, likely manufactured by D. (Detrola), chassis model 104. Estimated production period: 1920s-1930s. Wooden tabletop cabinet with original-style components and vintage design. The unit powers on and tubes light up when plugged in. Audio output has not been tested. This radio may require an external speaker or high-impedance headphones for operation (not included). Chassis model 104 is marked inside the cabinet, and the rear plate is marked Made in U. Detroit, as shown in the photos. Cabinet shows age-related cosmetic wear including scratches, scuffs, finish wear, and other signs of age and storage. Original back cover and knobs are present. Interior components appear original. Only the items shown in the photos are included. No speaker, headphones, or additional accessories are included. Antique Burns Pyralin Horn Speaker Amber Marbled Radio Tested 1920s

Antique Burns Manufacturing Co. Horn speaker dating to the early radio era, featuring a beautiful amber marbled Pyralin (celluloid) horn and original black metal base. This speaker retains its original Burns Manufacturing Co. Identification label and original cloth-covered cord. The horn displays attractive amber and caramel marbling with translucent qualities characteristic of Pyralin material used in decorative radio horns during the 1920s. The speaker has been tested and the diaphragm responds when connected. A video demonstrating operation is available. Genuine Burns Manufacturing Co. Amber marbled Pyralin (celluloid) horn. Original Burns identification label present. Early tube radio accessory. Several cracks present in the horn material. Paint splatter visible in several areas. Masking tape residue remains on portions of the horn. Surface wear, scratches, finish loss, and age-related patina throughout. Original cloth cord shows age and fraying. Driver and base show expected wear from age. Please review all photographs carefully as they are part of the description and condition report. Horn Diameter: __13___ inches.

A Vintage / Original c. 1920s HERALD Art Deco 30 Tall RADIO HORN SPEAKER — For PARTS or REPAIR. The speaker currently will not stand on it’s own – I photographed laying down. I have not tested the voice coil, so I’m assuming it isn’t working. Visually it appears to be in nice original. Condition showing light to moderate overall wear w/ the pot metal “collar” showing chipped corners. I do not see any dents or damage on the horn itself. Message me w/ questions & good luck!

I do a lot of business with them and they always have well cared for gear. Not saying it won’t need adjustments but, it looks like a nice clean unit. Everything you see in the pictures is what is included in this lot. Photos are the best description. Please look at all pictures closely before purchasing. We will document any damage the best we can but the photos will always be the best way to exam the item. Items may need a more in depth cleaning. Wood cabinet is in pretty good shape with a few marks and scratches. Has 5 vintage tubes of which 3 are philco and 2 are silvertone. The two Knobs are marked Pilot. See photos for more details.
