After some research, this is the only thing I can compare it to: Vintage RCA Victor Model 66X8 Table Top Catalin. Looks like they were made/popular around 1948. Acquired from a family member and have held onto it for quite some time. Now it’s just taking up space. Anyways, the condition is used, it appears to be in decent shape. Please bear with me, I’m nowhere near being good at “appraising” condition. The only things I can remember is when I was younger I plugged it in and did get some static and eventually picked up a station. And the tuning dial doesn’t move indicating what frequency you’re on. Overall, in my honest opinion, I think this would be a great restoration project! Smoke and pet free home. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. I’ve taken some more photos, trying to show more of the radio, and provide more detail as the first two weren’t very good. I also plugged it in again today and it still lives! Of course I couldn’t pick anything up, but there was a lot of static and humming and one of the tubes was glowing a bit! So that must be good right? ! I appreciate everyone’s interest so far in this, I wasn’t expect this much “hype” around it. Feel free to continue to message for any questions or concerns.
