From my private collection. Two RCA 6 tube table radios and a Bonus Toy! The RCA 15X is from 1940 before the start of world war II, The RCA 56X2 is from 1946 after the end of the world war. If radios could talk……… Both these radios have been properly maintained and serviced. Both radios present strong loud volume – NO STATIC when adjusting. Both radios include a working tone knob for treble and bass. Both Bakelite cabinets are perfect, NO CRACKS, DINGS, DEFECTS or other cosmetic anomalies inconsistent with age. I displayed them together as part of my ebony and ivory collection. (see photo) I collect and display many radios in both dark and light. I like the decorative contrast.
