Over the next few weeks I will be listing a lot of 1920′s and 1930′s vintage radios from the estate of an avid radio collector who passed away suddenly. These radios were stored in a dry environment for over 40 years and were on display in this collector’s home. This radio is in pretty good shape for its age (95-96 years old) but has some issues: The leather handle on top is gone, one of the 6 tubes is broken, a restraining fixture for the “Radiola 26″ plate covering the tubes is missing, the wood cabinet on lower left is seperating at the corner, and the swivel antenna needs to be worked on for the cracked wood frame and the wires going to the antenna from the radio itself needs work. All in all, however, the radio has “good bones” and would be a nice specimen to do the restoration on. I will get some better photos tomorrow and replace the ones that are not in color.
