HE UPGRADED THE TUBES SO THAT THEY ARE ALL STRONG. I DID NOT HEAR MUCH ON THE SHORTWAVE BUT I WAS USING A SHORT ANTENNA. ONE NOTE: A PREVIOUS OWNER DECIDED TO USE A LITTLE GOLD ACCENT ON THE FINISH.
