Fresh from a local estate, this is a vintage Zenith Model 6-S-229 tombstone tube radio that is in working condition. I did not get any reception on the shortwave bands as they are very difficult to receive in my area. For a video of the unit playing, see the attached link that I have provided. All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well. The finish on the radio is all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax and presents well. The most wear is on the top of the radio. The speaker grill is in poor condition. The power cord is in excellent condition, still flexible. Great looking, desireable Zenith radio that will be a fine addition to your collection.
