Vintage Zenith Model 9-S-367 Zephyr Radio Chassis with Shutter Robot Dial Working

Vintage Zenith Model 9-S-367 “Zephyr” radio chassis, with the shutter/robot dial that is in working condition. Unfortunately, the tuning band is missing, so it will need to be replaced in order to get the mechanism to function properly. I did not try the Police or Shortwave bands. The unit is always in the “on” position, so it will need work so that it can turn off. The shutter dial functioned properly. The power cord is in poor condition – taped in spots and will need to be replaced. Chassis is very clean and free of rust and corrosion. Right side push button mechanism is also included, but some buttons are missing. Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.

Rca Painted Bakelite Radio Model 8×682 / Am & Short Wave /working

1948 – RCA RCA Victor Co. 6 tubes, 12BA6, 12BE6, 12BA6, 12AT6, 35C5, 35W4. AC/DC SET – 115 Volt. The radio measures approximately. 12.7 X 8 X 7.2 inches. Cylinder players & cylinders. I removed the chassis so you could see what shape it is in. I think you’ll agree it is a nice radio at a fair price. Don’t wait until the last minutes as I may not be able to get you an answer. My shop is full of LED lights and I must turn them off because they interfere with reception. Some static also was heard when tuning through the dial. The electrolytics have not been replaced and all the old paper caps remain in place. All is original as best I can determine. Please see the pictures. The case is good condition, I saw no breaks or cracks in the case. The repainted cabinet looks good and the dial lens is clear. The vent is taped to the cabined inside and the paint has nicks and scratches as seen in the pictures. The chassis is clean and shows no rust. The on/off volume works properly. The tuning throughout the dial works well with no binding up. The dial string is in place and works well. The dial rotates to a mark at the top and bottom of the clear lens to indicate station selection. Please examine all the pictures closely. The power cord is in good condition and looks to be original to the radio. The loop antenna is in good shape and is attached to the chassis and comes out of the case with the chassis. The speaker is in good condition. Even though this radio is working at the present time one needs to remember that this radio is. With all original electrical parts. It should not be used as a daily player unless serviced. I use new boxes and new and recycled packing materials unless noted otherwise. This radio is wrapped in bubble wrap. Boxed in a new box with packing material to hold the radio securely. I double boxed this radio in another box as carefully as I know how. I want the radio to arrive safely to you in one piece as you see in the pictures. The outer box is 16×12 x12 inches and weighs 12 lbs.

WORKING VINTAGE pre-1951 HALLICRAFTERS S-72L 4 BAND Portable AM/SW RADIO

Hallicrafter fans, have you seen one of these? So, is it a rare model? Leatherette wood cabinet in good condition and repaired. Restored, aligned, capacitors replaced. Tested for 24 hours on AC power. I really like the bronze-brass brown lettering contrasting front panel finish on this piece. Telescoping antenna is in excellent condition. It’s a great old radio. I replaced the carrying handle and leather headphone straps on the interior. I did NOT test for battery operation. Works great on AC. All Four Bands tested and working. Tunes from 170KC to 11MC in four bands. I test them thoroughly and check one last time before packing. If you have issues please contact me. I will do my best to help you. It is greatly appreciated. Vintage Emerson Model 520 Catalin Radio Great Looking Working

Vintage Emerson Model 520 catalin radio that is great looking! The catalin body has great swirling all around and has been polished up lightly with Novus, which is made for polishing plastic and catalin. In the light the brown, light brown and hint of green in the catalin shows very well – this radio has exceptional coloring. The body has no chips or cracks and minimal scratches that are difficult to detect. In respect to its functionality, the radio is working – receiving stations readily, but with some background hum. The knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well. The power cord is in excellent condition. The dial cover is a bit loose and will need to be affixed better. Great catalin radio for the beginner or for someone who does not want to pay in the high end range. Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.
