I listened to talk radio on it today! This radio would make a lovely gift for any retro-era fans in your life, or radio lovers. It would look lovely in a vintage-themed home. Thanks for looking into this fantastic 1950′s radio. The radio has been cleaned inside and outside. All tudes are functioning. As with all old radios the tubes must warm up. Vintage Zenith H664 radio phonograph that was an estate sale find. This would be an excellent restoration project for someone with the expertise to bring it back to life. I Plugged the unit in and It powered up and I heard radio static but didnt keep it plugged up very long so I wouldnt damage anything because it hasnt been plugged up in a long time. I dont know if the turntable works or not, no further testing was done. What you see in the photographs is what will come with the unit. I will include the three albums that are on the unit also. Cosmetically the unit is in pretty good condition considering its age. The cover has no cracks or damage. The hinge is in excellent working condition. There is no needle in the phonograph. I try to describe the unit to the best of my ability so please view photos for a better idea condition. The model number is 19. This radio works when plugged in and warms up. There is several scratches and wear marks on the outer wood case and some weathering and pealing as shown in the pictures. This radio shows usage and wear and tear. The original electrical cord works but should be replaced. The radio just makes a scratchy and squealing noise but won’t tune in any channels.
