Here is a great 1940s Vintage Philco Tube Radio / Turntable, with Wooden Case, Model 46-1203 – will list as non-functioning, but it worked inconsistently for us. We did nothing to make repairs or diagnose. We will not accept a return. Superhet with RF-stage; ZF/IF 455 kHz; 2 AF stage(s). Power type and voltage. Alternating Current supply (AC) / 115 Volt. Permanent Magnet Dynamic (PDyn) Loudspeaker (moving coil). Philco, Philadelphia Stg. Tablemodel, Box – most often with Lid (NOT slant panel). Condition Notes: Wear and scuffs on surfaces. Restored General Electric 1946 vintage wooden case tube radio works well

The distinctive cabinet is made from walnut veneers and a poplar grill – very pretty. The condition of the Deco-in-Wood wooden cabinet is excellent – it has been refinished using many coats of lacquers and looks gorgeous. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy – the sound is clear and crisp with no hum. As with all my radios it is electrically sound – the tubes are strong and all of the old wax/capacitors underneath the chassis have been changed. The radio plays very well and should give years of good service. The radio features: stylized cabinet with rounded corners; a slide rule dial; a set very of distinct colours’ bakelite knobs; a very stylized seven louver wooden grill and the cord has been changed, is polarized and the logo is still on the bottom. The measurements are: 10″ across, 7″ high and 7 deep. Every radio I sell has been thoroughly serviced – tubes tested, components checked and then the unit is lubricated and cleaned inside and out. The work performed can be seen in the pictures of the chassis and/or found in the radio description.

Rare Vtg Tomestone Art Deco A31 Aircastle Wooden Superheterodyne Tube Radio
rare

This seems to be one of the hardest to find Air Castle radios. Radio is in very nice vintage cosmetic condition. I do not believe it’s ever been restored. Looks like it has all the original tubes. The dial and speaker opening design scream Art Deco. I think this is one of the best-looking dials I’ve ever seen. The case of this radio is really in pretty nice condition to be nearly 90 years old. I took pictures of most of the imperfections to the wood. Bottom corners have some light chips. See pictures for overall condition. Now it does power on, and all tubes light up, but I couldn’t get any reception. The knob to turn it off and on still works. I was having trouble with the tuning knob. I believe it will need some work. I believe this might be the only problem, but I’m still going to sell it AS IS.

Vintage Westinghouse Tube Radio Wooden Rare Table Top Turns On! Brown Old

I’m unsure if this model number is correct because I can’t be certain that the color is mahogany. There is wear, scratches and chips. A piece of the side is broken off and it’s in a baggie. Another piece of wood is broken off but lost. It turns on but it’s just static, I was unable to figure out how to turn the tuner, so I’m unsure if it will play music. 13 1/2″ wide, 5″ deep, 9 1/2 tall. This vintage Westinghouse tube radio model H-457T6 is a rare collectible item that is sure to delight any retro enthusiast. Made of solid wood, this unit has a warm, rich sound that is perfect for listening to music or tuning in to your favorite radio show. With its classic design and Westinghouse branding, this radio is a true gem. Featuring tube technology and a range of impressive features, this radio is perfect for anyone who loves vintage electronics.
