1930s vintage fada wood tabletop radio. My guess is nobody broadcasts on these bands anymore. This would look great on a fireplace mantle or antique radio display.

This radio works, but is probably a wonderful candidate for a full restore! The case has knicks and such, as you can see. This is highly collectible and representative of the Golden Age of radio! Light Mahogany Molded Plywood Case by Charles & Ray Eames for Zenith, 1946. Thanks so much for considering this awesome vintage piece of radio history!

This antique L’Tatro Scanner Tube Radio is a rare find for any collector of vintage radios. Made of wood and dating back to the 1930s-1940s, this radio is a piece of history that would make a great addition to any collection. While we cannot guarantee its functionality, it is a unique and visually striking piece that is sure to impress. Looks like it would hook up to a battery but I’m not for certain.

If you are looking for a restored old-time tube radio that can be played as often as you like and for as long as you like, please read on. This radio set has been restored to it’s original condition and is ready to bring another lifetime’s listening pleasure to it’s proud new owner. You will be satisfied with this radio set because no detail inside OR outside has been overlooked in order to deliver both “dependable performance” and appealing cabinetry. Every effort has been made to offer a practically new radio, performing as it did originally, and to be maintenance free for quite some time. The wood cabinet is in excellent condition without any cracks, delamination of veneers, or patch-job repairs; the dial cover is brand new. The cabinet has been refinished in traditional manner using linseed oil varnish to bring out the texture of the veneers and impart a soft shine. This model measures 12″ X 6″ X 7.5″high with full 5″ Speaker. A thorough clean job. Check out all the photos. The electronics inside the chassis have been totally overhauled. That includes: new dial string and power cord, power supply completely replaced, and replacing all the old wax capacitors. This radio uses 6 tubes. All 6 tubes are “New Old Stock”and the dial light bulb is new as well. And yes, the radio plays like a charm! Following the restoration, all radio circuits were re-tuned to their specification using instrumentation. The end result is an old fashioned tube radio giving excellent reception across the dial, playing with warmth and depth. Please don’t expect to find any transmissions there as Police transmissions have moved to other frequencies since 1941. Thoroughly bench tested, this vintage Motorola radio set is ready for it’s new home. I will double box using new cartons so that your new radio arrives undamaged in transit.

When I plugged in and turn left knob, it turns on. I hear humming and screeching noise like a siren when I push any of the six wood buttons. The right knob turns, but DOES NOT MOVE THE NEEDLE ON THE RADIO. Cannot read the complete model number on back. Refer to photos on back and use your own judgment. Has scratches on the wood throughout. Missing one screw in the bottom, as seen in photos. 10 1/2 long x 8 3/4 high (bottom to top of wood handle) x 6 deep.
