It is a great looking piece still in very sharp condition the door that opens to see the front will go down, but you can remove it by just lifting it up. Seems like that’s the way it’s supposed to work. I took pictures of the hinge d so yall can see.. Both knobs are working as you can see in the pictures I took before and after moving them.. Everything looks really good inside, including the power cord, but I did not plug it up so it is untested. Still has a tag of the owners name inside. On one side there is an issue. Looks like maybe something was spilled down it years ago. It’s not sticky or anything. See the pictures please and thanks for the interest.

Here is a vintage radio I have owned for about 35 years. I bought it from a neighbor that was a retired TV/Radio repairman. I have not tested to short wave or tape/phono input. I have no way to test. Looks simular to a Grundig German radio. Cosmetically it is in very good condition for its age. Look closely at photos. 29 inches wide, 9 inches deep, and 12 inches tall.

Vintage Sears SILVERTONE tube radio. Model 4566 – Wood Cabinet. Radio Is Very good Used. Radio Powers on- Makes Buzzing Hum- Static Sounds. Tuning Dial Is disconnected/ knob does not turn dial. The front eye light does not light up. You can see the tubes in back- they do light up. Has 4 orig knobs- no melts or breaks. Wood cabinet is very good- has few small chips- dings- dents- scratches. Missing the back covers. Measures about 17″ w x 11″ h x9 deep. Has dust inside / tubes. Power cord has frey breaks – old tape repair. Has internal speaker- grill cloth is good- no tears.
