PLEASE READ FURTHER DOWN ABOUT THIS COOL LOOKING RADIO. The Model Number on this Stunning Looking Radio is RBMU-175 & it was produced around the 1947 era. This was a popular radio when it was introduced in the1940′s. This is still a fairly popular & desirable radio by today’s standards. I have taken many pictures so you may get a good view at this WONDERFUL Looking Radio & it Plays. THIS VINTAGE WONDERFUL LOOKING SONORA RADIO JUST LOOKS OUTSTANDING TO SAY THE LEAST & IT PLAYS NICELY. The cabinet on this Beauty is made of. Plastic that has that has been cleaned & polished which still Produces a Super Nice sheen or shine & that shine just looks Great:> There are no cracks in the cabinet & it is Very NICE & SPECTACULAR looking (NOT PERFECT) as there are a couple of imperfections on the finish! The 2-Plastic control knob are in good Condition. The chassis is in good condition & it is a All American 5-tube unit with 2-controls & all controls have been lubricated & are in good working condition. The 2-controls are ON/OFF/VOLUME & TUNING. The tube line up is One-35W4, One-50B5, One-12BA6, One-12BE6 & One-12AT6. The chassis has had all new electrolytic capacitor/filters installed & All wax/paper capacitors were replaced & a Nice New Electric Cord was installed. This SONORA Radio has been restored to good working condition. Sized of this Fabulous GEM is 10-3/4″ Long, 6-1/2″ Wide/Deep & 7-1/4 High. This is a vintage radio & must be handled & cared for & treated in this manor & not like a modern day boombox. Tube radio technology “unlike modern day solid state radios” can have interference/noise in the sound quality, caused by kitchen appliances, computer monitors, flat screen TV’S, florescent lights, washing machines, high power wires above your home, etc… So where you position/place this radio in your home can make a huge difference & the direction/position it is set in. A lot of tube radios are “Directional” meaning you ” MAY ” have to turn the radio one way or the other to receive the best reception. Tube radio usually take 30 to 45 seconds after they have been turned/powered ON before they will start playing as the tubes have to warm up. I package very well for a safe arrival. This Philco model 511 radio came from a estate of a large collection of vintage tube radios, The knobes turn freely and dial for channels. The hand written note shown tells a little history of this one and explains the fact that it requiers a long antenna and that it requiers a speaker. Fabric on the cord is bad and getting stiff, not sure if any bear wires are there from it. The radio has tubes, 6 of them. The radio model is 511 It is called a metal coffin style radio and made of heavy metal. The radio is untested because it needs a speaker hooked up to it. Also as show I like to take pictures in differant lighting, but this is the unit you will get.

History of the Learadio – Learradio 561 by Lear Co. Owner William Powell Lear, known for inventing the automobile radio but who is also known for founding The Lear Jet Corp. And has over 120 other patents registered. This great looking high quality radio with its nice looking Bakelite case This model 561 chassis is the same as the 562 & the 563. It comes with a built-in wire-wound antenna for excellent reception. 10-1/2″W x 8″H x 7D. This is a 1945 Learadio model 561. Radio I believe to be original except for the cord as it has been replaced. I know absolutely nothing about radios. This radio was acquired from an estate of a collector that had many of tube radios. Radio turns on and does pull in stations. Has few very small spots where paint is missing shown in pictures commonly found on a vintage items this old, but you decide as I tried to show in pictures….

Vintage Philco Transistone Tube Radio. Not Sure of the Model Number. May be a 42-PT94 with an alternate Grill?? Very Nice Looking Radio. Wood Cabinet is Nice with very little Blemishes -See Photos. Has a couple of light marks/scuffs. Speaker Grill is Nice. The Dial Face has some scratches – See Photo. See Photos for Cosmetic Condition. Picks up Many Stations Across the Dial. This Radio Displays Nicely. And Plays Great Loud and Clear. Starting in 2025 I will be listing over 300 Vintage and Antique Radios from a Collection. Radios from the 20′s 30′s 40′s 50′s 60′s 70′s some 80′s. I would say most are from 50′s 60′s. Conditions include Parts or Repair, Fair, Good, Excellent, and even Superb to Mint Condition. This is a large radio and sports nine tubes including a push-pull audio amplifier with 10-inch speaker. It needs an antenna. Also, the push buttons are a little funky, and the plate around the channel viewer is cracked as seen in the pictures. 24-1/2″W x 12-3/4″H x 10D. Thank you for looking.
