Vintage Working Grundig Type 2140 Valve Tube Radio With Box. A beautiful mid century piece having a stunning wooden casing and cream bakelite front finish. The radio is in a good working order and operates smoothly and without fault. Besides some markings to the canvas front of the radio the piece is in a superb condition and comes within its original retail box. The radio measures 39cm by 22cm with a depth of 15cm. Vintage 1940s Valve / Tube Radio. Brown Bakelite Exterior Material. This radio is in great overall cosmetic condition, however functionality wise its completely untested. It doesnt currently have a power cable. Seems to be a special 2 pronged connection. I havent opened this radio up, however from looking in the top there is a lot of dust sitting internally so itll definitely need cleaning and servicing. Please See Photos For Details. Vintage Valve Radio c. 1950 Kolster Brandes Midget FB10 MW LW Toaster Tube Bakelite. The company originally made speakers, before branching into mid-range electronics, such as radios, record players and radiograms. This particular radio, the FB10 model, was a valve-based set produced from around 1950. It was more affectionately known as the “Toaster” model, both due to its distinctive design and its tendency to run hot! The model was capable of picking up MW and LW frequencies. Vintage Valve Radio c. 1954 Marconi Companion T37DA Tube MW LW Bakelite. This quirky-looking radio was manufactured by Marconiphone, one of the legendary names in radio manufacture. This model is the Companion T37DA, a valve-based model produced from aroun 1954 and capable of picking up MW and LW signals. The unit is small and relatively portable, measuring just 313 x 208 x 160 mm. The control knobs are a little spongey as it appears someone has tried to glue them back on at some point. Cosmetically, the radio would benefit from light cleaning and the bakelite finish will polish up very well. In the latter case, we will send you an invoice ASAP.
