OUR VERY OWN DESIGN OFFERING – Standard power, vacuum Tube Battery Eliminator Power Supply Kit. This is a standard Battery Eliminator Power Supply kit, for use with most antique radio receiver sets. See our other listings, for a semi-built kit. NOTE: The case is currently available in black only. Below is some unsolicited feedback from buyers. Quality components and design. Fine battery eliminator design! Excellent once again (my second). This kit features three, independent DC power sources, to provide B+ (high voltage), A+ (filament voltage) and C- (grid voltage), for vacuum tube radios and other electronic equipment. For 120 VAC input voltages only. Complete kit with case, power transformer and line cord. The kit provides the following voltages and currents. B+ circuit consists of a standard series string of twelve zener diodes. Twelve diodes allow more taps, and reduces component heating. Standard taps of 22, 44, 66, 88 110 and 132 volts nominal, with additional taps of 33, 55, 77, 100 and 122 available on the board. Maximum nominal current of 50mA at 132 volts. Exact voltages will vary due to component variations, and load. Current limiting is provided by a PTC resettable fuse, and conventional fuse. A+ circuit consists of a LM350 voltage regulator. Variable output from 1.2 – 6.3 volts by onboard trimmer, up to 2 amps. C- circuit provides an adjustable, zener regulated 0 – 21 volts by onboard potentiometer. Three onboard LED’s provide indication of A, B and C voltages. Quiet, onboard 40mm fan provides cooling for longer component life. NOTE: The unit must be operated in an enclosure at all times, plastic enclosure included. Only for sale to people experienced with line powered, high voltage devices. Not for sale to, or use by minors. NOTE: This kit requires good electrical and mechanical building skills, and is recommended for advanced builders. User must drill round holes as necessary for construction. Easy printed circuit board assembly. High quality fiberglass circuit board. Single sided design without plated through holes, so it is easy to solder and unsolder components. Board has three different color LED’s to monitor each supply. AC line input fuse, and individual PC board mount fuses, with fuse holders, for each section and easy replacement. User can install in-line fuses, or panel mounted fuse holders if desired (not included). Fuses included, user should fuse unit to your particular application. Connections are made by a 12 pair, insulated screw terminal connector, mounted on enclosure front. Complete with all parts, including transformer and line cord. Maybe an antenna is needed for its proper functioning, I don’t know. Does not include the microphone, See Video and photos to details. This was picked up from the estate of a vintage radio collector. I have NOT plugged this in as it has dust inside and i don’t have a proper way to test. Chips in the veneer as shown in the pictured. Face or radio is in very nice condition with beautiful knobs, face plate and dial arm. Volume and on/off move properly.
Vintage PHILCO 1939 Vacuum Tube Radio. Crocodile Faux Press Brown Case- 10726A. Very unique old radio. This does not turn on. May be a simple fix, but at least makes for a great display item. Case is free of cracks. As is or great refurbish project. Dimensions shown in photos.
