The radio is a rare Erla radio from 1939 21.5″ long 9 7/8″ deep an 11.5 high. Loud humming when plugging in. I’ll find a price in between on this one. Has a Jensen speaker. The dip in the trim is supposed to be there because of the knob is low. Radio looks to have all its tubes. You’ll have to sign for the radio when it arrives and it will be fully insured.

RCA RADIOLA 20 FOR SALE.. THIS IS AN UNTESTED RADIO WITH ALL 5 EARLY TUBES. THE TWO TUNING “ROLLERS” MOVE EASILY AND MOVE THEIR RESPECTIVE TUNING CAPACITORS. THE “NOTATION AREA” WHERE LISTENERS COULD WRITE THE STATION CALL LETTERS IS UNMARKED. THERE ARE FOUR KNOBS ALONG THE BOTTOM. THE KNOB SECOND FROM THE LEFT IS NOT A MATCH WITH THE OTHER THREE. SEE THE SECOND LAST GALLERY PHOTO. THE INSIDE LID HAS AN INFORMATION SHEET AND THE METAL RADIOLA 20 MEDALLION. THERE IS NO VENEER ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RADIO. THAT AREA HAS BEEN SANDED AND REPAINTED A MATCHING BROWN. SEE THE LAST GALLERY PHOTO. THE FINISH ON THE RADIO IS ABOUT AVERAGE. WOOD IS ALSO IN AVERAGE CONDITION. It says that it is a battery type and may be older than I thought it was. The case is in fair condition for it’s age. Please see pic 4 that shows slight discoloration on bottom of the side. This is a rare and historically significant WWII era Type CAY 47153A NAVY Aircraft Transmitter Radio Tuning Unit. This piece of military equipment, manufactured in the 1940s, served a crucial role in aircraft communication during the Second World War. Information Label: Type GAY-47151A Plug-in Tuning Unit. Frequency Range: 800 to 1500 KC. A Unit of Model GP-7 Aircraft Radio Equipment. Contract Date: June 27, 1940. There is a chart on the side that. Height: 8 ¾ inches. Comes as is, untested.
