RCA Radiola 26 Vintage Super-Hetrodyne Broadcast Tube Radio with Tubes (nice)

This RCA Radiola is in nice cosmetic condition for it’s age. The wooden case has some scuffs, scratches and nicks, but overall I’d say it’s been well cared for over the past 100 years. It currently has all tubes installed. The dials move smoothly, except the “STATION SELECTOR I” control. The knob turns, but the dial doesn’t move. We’ve made no attempt to test the radio. With over 1,000 items in our inventory and new items added daily, you’re sure to find what you need! WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE SALE: You will only receive what is shown in the photographs. If you do not see it in the photos, it is likely not included in the sale. RCA RADIOLA 20 FOR SALE.. THIS IS AN UNTESTED RADIO WITH ALL 5 EARLY TUBES. THE TWO TUNING “ROLLERS” MOVE EASILY AND MOVE THEIR RESPECTIVE TUNING CAPACITORS. THE “NOTATION AREA” WHERE LISTENERS COULD WRITE THE STATION CALL LETTERS IS UNMARKED. THERE ARE FOUR KNOBS ALONG THE BOTTOM. THE KNOB SECOND FROM THE LEFT IS NOT A MATCH WITH THE OTHER THREE. SEE THE SECOND LAST GALLERY PHOTO. THE INSIDE LID HAS AN INFORMATION SHEET AND THE METAL RADIOLA 20 MEDALLION. THERE IS NO VENEER ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RADIO. THAT AREA HAS BEEN SANDED AND REPAINTED A MATCHING BROWN. SEE THE LAST GALLERY PHOTO. THE FINISH ON THE RADIO IS ABOUT AVERAGE. WOOD IS ALSO IN AVERAGE CONDITION. Zenith 2-101-W Tube Radio Vintage AM Original Zenith Tubes

This radio comes from a meticulously preserved lifetime estate collection we are currently processing. The original owner was extremely organized and careful with his equipment. All items were stored indoors in a dry warehouse environment for decades. This set appears largely original, including. Zenith-branded power transformer (49CZ547). At least one Zenith-branded vacuum tube present. Original-style Zenith electrolytic can. Original back panel (Model 2-101-W marked). Made in U. Zenith was one of America’s premier radio manufacturers of the 1940s, known for durable construction and strong reception. The classic cream cabinet, gold concentric dial, and woven grille cloth make this a great restoration candidate or display piece. Untested – not powered on. Interior shows dust from long-term storage. Cabinet shows age wear, scuffs, and discoloration. Back panel present but currently taped in place. Dial glass intact. Cord appears original. No obvious chassis modifications observed. As with most 1940s radios, it will likely require capacitor replacement and servicing before regular use. Please review all photos carefully. Tubes will be protected internally. Radio will be securely bubble wrapped. Double boxed if needed. We take extra care with fragile vintage electronics. HALSON TOMBSTONE RADIO FOR SALE. MODEL — MOST LIKELY FROM 1934/ 35 / 36 — LOOKS TO BE PART OF THE HALSON “50″ SERIES. THIS RADIO LOOKS VERY MUCH LIKE THE HALSON 50S. THIS HALSON RADIO IS COMPLETE. ALL FIVE TUBES ARE IN THE CHASSIS. WHEN PLUGGED IN THE RADIO PRODUCES SOUND AND THE TUBES LIGHT. BUT THERE IS NO STATION SIGNALS. THE TUNING KNOB TURNS THE TUNING DIAL AND MOVES THE TUNING CAPACITOR WITH EASE. SHELL IN GOOD CONDITION EXCEPT FOR TWO VENEER FLAKES WHICH CAN BE SEEN IN THE LAST TWO GALLERY PHOTOS.
