1926 Newtrowound Super Six Radio With Good Tubes Beautiful and Working

This Neutrowound Super Six is in amazing condition. It was nicknamed the “Armored Breadboard” because of its steel enclosure. Excellent condition cosmetically and in good working order. Comes with six good 01A tubes and schematic. Paint, tube covers and the four corner pieces are in exceptional condition. The gum rubber base under the tubes on these radios are always dried up and broken into pieces, but this radio has had new gum rubber installed. The battery leads are in great condition and are clearly tagged for easy hook-up. Neutrowound Radio Manufacturing Company was only around for five years, so these radios are pretty rare and ones in this condition are almost impossible to find. My auctions are for collectors who appreciate radios from the 1920s that are in excellent condition. On the very rare occasion an item is not in good working condition, I will tell you. Exactly as described and photographed. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Be sure to visit the. Vintage Braun RC81A German Tube Amp Radio Receiver Telefunken Tubes Powers On
vintage
Comments Off

Listing is for one. Braun RC81A German Tube Amp Radio Receiver w/ Telefunken Tubes. 1959/1960 I think: Model: Tischsuper G11-81 Ch = RC81 A – Braun; Frankfurt. Powered on, basic radio working (see Video). I was able to tune to one channel. I can’t read German, so I don’t understand anything on the unit. No further testing done. Item has scratches, scuffs, & is missing a knob. I included a substitute that doesn’t fit great, but is better than no knob. The schematic was in fair shape has tape on it. Tubes are removed (I included a diagram for re-installiation), and bubble wrapped, and taped to the chassis w/ blue painters tape. Care was taken in this process. It’s well packed in foam, & bubbles, & a box in a box. Please remove packing material CAREFULLY. Please see pics for the visual condition. As with any vintage item, please expect there to be wear, scuffs/scratches, odors, discoloration, rust, dust, signs of age, etc. And though I may have gotten an item to power on, due to the age, item could fail to do so at any time. Pics are of actual item (s). Item does not come with anything else, unless noted in description. Please visit my store for more vintage items! Office reference: Item #24-1120.
