A BEAUTIFUL WORKING OLD EMERSON RADIO. LOOKS GOOD AND IT WORKS. HERE’S A BLAST FROM THE PAST, AN EMERSON TABLE RADIO. IT’S SMALL COMPARED TO THE BIG TUBE SETS OF THE 1930′S. I BELIEVE THIS IS EITHER THE CJ 207 OR CJ 217 AND IT’S CALLED THE “LITTLE MIRACLE” BECAUSE IT PERFORMED BETTER THAN MANY OF THE BIG BOYS. MEASURING ON 10″ X 6″ X 4 IT PACKED A LOT OF STUFF INTO THAT SMALL BOX. SEVERAL CAPS HAVE BEEN REPLACED INCLUDING THE ELECTROLYTICS. I PULLED IN SEVERAL LOCAL STATIONS WITH IT. I SUSPECT WITH A LONG WIRE ANTENNA IT WOULD DO EVEN BETTER. IT NEEDS FOUR FEET ON IT BUT THOSE ARE EASILY OBTAINABLE AT HOME DEPOT OR FROM YOU PARTS BOX.

Picked this up in a local estate. There is a side of the casing that was broken off. I taped it back on. You can see it in 3rd and 4th photos. We plugged it in. It buzzes, but can’t find the channel. Assuming it will need quite a bit of work. This is one of the most intricate awesome pieces of radio history you’ll find. But it is not perfect. It will need work and it does have some cosmetic damage as you can see. But it is a beautiful rare color that you probably won’t see again.
