Philco Transitone portable TV 50′s Tube Rare 2004 model Vintage Antique. Briefly plugged it in and I hear a loud buzz so I turned it off, I did see some tubes lighting up though. No further testing done. Very cool color and design. Missing one knob on the side, otherwise mostly complete. Antennas in good condition for age. The buttons, switches and pots have been cleaned with Deoxit. All the moving parts have been lubricated. The finish on the radio is also original and has simply been cleaned. Estate of a large collection, please see my other listings. This is a fine example of a 1940′s Philco Transitone PT-43 in a medium wood with cream bakelite. Wood is in good condition with no missing veneer but could use wax. I wanted to represent in as found condition. Bakelite grille has one fine crack that is barely detectable.
