This is pretty nice transceiver. It has some minor cosmetic issues consisting mostly of small scratches on the cabinet. The faceplate looks great! It receives well and transmits with full power. The only real problem is that two of display’s digits are out (see photos), so you’ll probably want to replace the display at some point or use some external VFO. Also included in the sale is the power cable and user manuals. Please note that no microphone is included. It was found in the shed of a ham radio operator, tucked away in it’s original box for who-knows-how-long. It’s a little dirty, but should clean up well. There are no noticeable scratches on the cabinet and the faceplate looks great! This one will make an excellent candidate for restoration! This unit is believed to have not been used in many years, likely decades, and with this in mind we have made no attempt to power-on this unit or test in any way. Heathkit SB-101 Vintage Ham Radio Tube Transceiver Gorgeous (low audio) SN 94607. This is a very nice looking piece of Heathkit equipment. There’s a few small scuffs on top, but otherwise it looks amazing. Other than some dust, it’s clean inside as well. We’re getting 90-100 watts out, depending on the band, however the receive audio is very low. It could be as simple as a bad tube, but we haven’t taken the time to troubleshoot. Also, the belts are starting to crack and will need to be replaced soon. This will be a very nice piece once it is serviced by a knowledgeable tech! Drake TR-4CW Vintage Tube Ham Radio Transceiver Untested Looks Great SN 42967

This is an extremely clean Drake transceiver. It came from an estate where it was packaged away in deep storage, presumably not used in many years. There’s hardly a scratch on the cabinet and the faceplate is flawless. Take a look at the pictures and I think you’ll agree. Also included is the original user manual. From what we can tell, the radio is all original. We’re not experts on Drake gear, but all components look original and we see no obvious modifications. The bad news is that we don’t currently have a working Drake power supply in the shop, and even if we did, I’m not sure we’d want to power it up. Given that it hasn’t been used in years, possibly decades, it’s almost a certainty that it’s going to need some work. You should count on the need to replace some capacitors, possibly some tubes, etc. Once up and running, this will be one of the finest TR-4CW’s out there! The cabinet also has it’s share of scuffs and scratches. Operationally, the unit turns on, but that’s about it. While the tuning knob turns, the dial and VFO are locked.
