Vintage 1930s Philco Tube Radio Model 630 Shouldered Tombstone Design. PARTS/REPAIR, UNTESTED, ASSUME NOT WORKING!! Two small Philco labels found inside are pretty roached, dry, brittle, breaking apart. Lower three knobs snug and turn fine, station knob turns smoothly and station disc advances nicely. HTF Model, research shows only about 14,000 were ever made of the 630 model. Radio has tubes and cords, but is untested and presumed not working. Dusty, dirty, especially inside; also missing most all of it’s wood stain finish, all as shown. Feel free to reach out if you need more pictures or have questions. All original (except for plug). Some scratches and dents, but hey, it’s 88 years old! It worked 38 years ago, haven’t turned it on since then. Not sure of working condition now, has been in storage 38 years. Please READ FULL ENTIREDescription below & VIEW “ALL” PICTURES as pictures are also a part of my description. The Model number on this radio is 62-156. This radio was produced in the 1930′s era. This was an fairly popular radio when it was introduced in 1935. The Tombstone Wood cabinet on this beauty is nice looking (Not Perfect) but Nice condition with a some small minor imperfections. The finish looks Nice & the Grain in the wood is gorgeous to say that is Pleasing to the eyes. The Speaker Grill Cloth is in nice condition that Compliments the cabinet Nicely. Nice Brown Bakelite plastic Bezel surrounding the dial scale & the Glass dial scale Lens cover is Clean & Clear with No cracks. Itself is Very Nice looking with. The 3 brown Bakelite. Control knobs are original & in Great looking condition. This AIRLINE Radio would make an Excellent addition to your radio collection or as a stand alone radio as it’s power & beauty will surely be the talk of the room by all whom enter. Excellent choice for full restoration! As it is ORIGINAL. Sized of this Fabulous gem is 12-1/4″ Long, 8-1/2″ Wide/Deep & 14 High & 16 Pounds in Weight UNPACKAGED.

The radio must have been hooked up to a battery, the cord is all cracked up mostly the brown cord. Didn’t feel any holes in the speaker cone. The top had the previous owner set things on it so the finish has that sign, see pictures. The dial needle doesn’t turn with the know. No cracks in the glass. Cabinet doesn’t appear to have any damage except cosmetic in the finish, see photos for the small scattered areas.
