Vintage Philco Tombstone Tabletop Tube Radio Model 620. This Philco tombstone style radio measures 18-1/2″ tall, 13″ wide, and 9 front to back. Used, cabinet has wear, grille cloth sags, the radio was tested and tubes light up, you can hear static out of the speaker but it does not tune in any stations. See photos for cosmetic condition.

Vintage 1937 Crosley Model 516 Tube Radio – Art Deco Design – Works – Original Condition. Works but has not been restored. The prior owner had spliced a new cord onto the end of the power cord. I powered the radio up using a variac. It came alive and started working. I was able to tune in several channels and adjust the volume. It should be serviced to be safe for use but it is alive and does work as is. RARE Vintage 1931 RCA model R5 Radiolette Tombstone Radio Powers Up Excellent Condition. I plugged this in and it powered up and made scratchy noises when i turned the tuning dial. The tuning dial (the middle knob) is a little bit loose. Please check out my other auctions.

The tube line up is One-6A8, One-6B7, One-42, One-6D6 & One-80. The chassis had has all New Electrolytic Capacitors replaced & paper/wax capacitors were replaced as needed & a nice electric cord was installed. Tube radio technology “unlike modern day solid state radios” can have interference/noise in the sound quality, caused by kitchen appliances, computer monitors, flat screen TV’S, florescent lights, washing machines, high power wires above your home, etc… So where you position/place this radio in your home can make a huge difference & the direction/position it is set in. A lot of tube radios are “Directional” meaning you ” MAY ” have to turn the radio one way or the other to receive the best reception. Tube radio usually take 30 to 45 seconds after they have been turned/powered ON before they will start playing as the tubes have to warm up. I package very well for a safe arrival.
