Here are 2 new old stock, vintage RCA 5692 (6SN7) electron radio amplifier vacuum tubes in original intact boxes. They have the brick red base and black plates. They are considered the premium version of the 6SN7 which is much more reliable and lasts a lot longer. They have matching base codes of 2-04 and tested on my TV-7 at 94/90 and 94/92, so very strong new testing tubes. They were also tested for shorts. I do have a few of these and can make a special listing if you are interested in more. The only difference would be the test results.

Vtg Midland M6B Tube Radio Wood Case Bakelite Knobs 1946 Tested Works Rare

Case & knobs are in beautiful shape. In 1946 demand for radios, like automobiles, was pent up due to the suspension of production during the war. Many companies produced radios in 1946 to meet this demand. One of the less known of these was the Midland Radio Co. The company presumably got its name from its geographical location. The M6B is a five tube superhet circuit set, operated on 115V AC or DC. The M6B utilized slug tuning (variable inductors) instead of the usual variable capacitor. A cam mechanism is used to move the slugs up and down while turning the dial indicator over a 300 deg arc. Performance of the M6B is average. The exterior design of the M6B is a good example of early post-war styling. The M6B is an example of a “left handed radio”, one of the few radios designed with knobs on the left side of the set. The Midland Radio Co. Did not last long, but some of the radios are still with us. See photos and description. All items come from a smoke free/pet friendly home.

Vintage RCA Victor 3BX671 Strato-World 3-Band Portable Radio – World Map – Rare – 1953. Condition: Used PreOwned (Tested Working). This rare vintage RCA Victor 3BX671 Strato-World 3-band portable radio (circa 1953) is a true collector’s item! Housed in a beautiful tan leatherette case with a unique world map lining, this retro radio evokes a sense of adventure and nostalgia. Perfect for vintage radio collectors, antique radio lovers, and shortwave radio enthusiasts. The radio has been tested and is fully functional-it was recently used to listen to vintage music with surprisingly good sound and clear transmission. The power cable is intact and visible in the photos.
