Not tested, not connected to the mains. I don’t know the condition of the components, capacitors, that’s why I didn’t turn on the radio to avoid damaging something. The radio is made of bakelite – it is not damaged or cracked – it has a nice preserved burgundy shade (you need to polish the radio). Buttons for switching ranges broken – see photo. Production: 1961/63 Tesla Bratislava, n. Tubes: ECH81, EBF89, ECL82. Oval speaker 280×80 mm, ferrite antena, selenium rectifier B250C75, printed circuit board, keyboard function switch. Bakelite cabinet, plastic mask, glass scale. Sputnik is the name of a series of space satellites launched by the Soviet Union since the end of the 1950s. On October 4, 1957, Sputnik 1 became the first artificial satellite of the Earth. 16.6 to 50.5 m (18 to 5.9 MHz). 187 to 572 m (1605 to 525 kHz). 810 to 2000 m (370 to 150 kHz). Year of production: 1952 – 1953. Tubes: UCH21, UCH21, UBL21, UY1N. Technical description: Six-circuit 3+1 tube superhet (SW, MW, LW) with power supply from AC and DC network 120 and 220V/30-100Hz. Round loudspeaker, membrane diameter 100 mm (impedance 4?), glass scale, bakelite cabinet in brown color with white scale frame, grids and knobs, paper back wall. Power consumption 32 W at an alternating voltage of 120 V; 45 W at 220 V alternating voltage (current at 220 V is 220 mA ± 10%), output power 1.5 W (0.7 W at 120 V alternating voltage). Wave ranges: SW, LW, MW; 16.5 to 51.5 m (18.2 to 5.8 MHz); 187 to 572 m (1605 to 525 kHz); 1000 to 2000 m (300 to 150 kHz), Average sensitivity: short waves 100 µV, medium and long waves 60 µV. This is a lovely vintage wooden radio from 1955. It is a Nikola Tesla radio made by Radio Industrija Beograd, Nikola Tesla, model 55 C. The radio is kept in a very good condition for its age, except for one small area on the wood where is visible small damage (the damaged area is marked at one of the photos). However the most important thing is the radio is working. The dimensions of the radio are (WHD): 560 x 340 x 220 mm or in inches 22 x 13.4 x 8.7. The weight of the device is 10 kg. Radio Tesla 308 U, finding condition, after turning on all the tubes, the bulb lights, the instrument fizz and grunts and responds to the tuning, but I did not make any station. AMAZING LOOK, one of the nicest design ever made for a radio! A must to add to any serious radio collection! See my store for more nice collectibles.

Vintage Tesla Talisman 307 U tube radio Czechoslovakia 1950s. I replaced the old cable, which had decayed from the action of time, with a new one. The radio didn’t work. You probably need to replace some capacitors, as there are burnt ones. Externally, the radio is very well preserved. The radio has a switch for operation from 220v and from 120v. This is a rare find, a vintage bakelite radio from the middle of the 1950′s. The radio was made in Czechoslovakia and is Tesla radio model Talisman 308 U. The cosmetic condition is amazing, no damages at all a the surface on the bakelite. Unfortunately the power cord is missing and is not tested, but most likely the radio is working. It is lovely decorative vintage radio with real retro charm. The dimensions of the radio are 320 x 190 x 150 mm or 12.6 x 7.5 x 5.9 inches. The weight of the radio is 2.6 kg. Vintage 1951 / 1952 Tesla Talisman 306U Czechoslovakia. Superheterodyne (common); ZF/IF 452 kHz. Broadcast, Long Wave and Short Wave. Power type and voltage. Permanent Magnet Dynamic (PDyn) Loudspeaker (moving coil) / Ø 10 cm = 3.9 inch. 1.5 W (unknown quality). Tesla; Praha, Bratislava etc. Tablemodel without push buttons, Mantel/Midget/Compact up to 14. 265 x 155 x 160 mm / 10.4 x 6.1 x 6.3 inch. Variant 306U-2 with different tuning scale, 306U-9 had modified supply voltage 150V and 220V. Die mit dem gleichen Chassis hergestellten Talisman in ganz anderen Bakelit-Gehäusen gibt es ab 1951 mit dem 305U, dann 1951 306U, gefolgt von 307U und 308U aus 1953.
