Radio: 1946 Sonora RQU 222. Six tube chassis, 6AM circuits. Bakelite case and knobs. Built-in antenna and a back cover. Condition: A beautiful radio from 1946. Acquired from a collector downsizing. The clean chassis was removed and sent to our technician for a complete rebuild and alignment. This beautiful radio tunes in stations with ease. A new on/off volume switch was installed. A new dial cord, dial light, pads and a line cord were installed. The speaker was repaired and sounds great. A new back cover was made. The Bakelite case required to be repainted along with the knobs. The original dial glass is in excellent condition with no peeling. This is a very nice Sonora radio and has been well taken care of. Vintage DETROLA 154e Wood Tube Radio, Table Top, Scarce! Green Eye Art Deco magic tuning eye. Powers up with lights, only static. The green eye tube is not fastened into place, fabric and knobs are missing. I’m not certain if there are any other parts missing. Tuning dial not working. Please see all photos.

1940′s Abbotwares Western horse working radio that is in amazing. Condition considering the age. My mom has had it for over 45 years if not longer. These are VERY rare to find in this condition. 11.5 x 15 and heavy. Also have a matching free standing Abbotwares horse. See other post please.
If you are looking for a restored old-time tube radio that can be played as often as you like and for as long as you like, please read on. This radio set has been restored to it’s original condition and is ready to bring another lifetime’s listening pleasure to it’s proud new owner. You will be satisfied with this radio set because no detail inside OR outside has been overlooked in order to deliver both “dependable performance” and appealing cabinetry. Every effort has been made to offer a practically new radio, performing as it did originally, and to be maintenance free for quite some time. The bakelite cabinet is in excellent condition without any cracks and has been hand rubbed to restore it’s original showroom finish. The brass dial pointer has been polished and overlacquered to prevent future tarnishing; the dial cover is brand new. This model measures 11″ X 7″ X 8high. A thorough clean job. Check out all the photos. The electronics inside the chassis have been totally overhauled. That includes: new dial string and power cord, power supply completely replaced, and replacing all the old wax capacitors. This radio uses 5 tubes. All 5 tubes are “New Old Stock”and the dial light bulb is new as well. And yes, the radio plays like a charm! Following the restoration, all radio circuits were re-tuned to their specification using instrumentation. The end result is an old fashioned tube radio giving excellent reception across the dial, playing with warmth and depth. Thoroughly bench tested, this vintage Emerson radio set is ready for it’s new home. I will double box using new cartons so that your new radio arrives undamaged in transit.
