Vintage 1940s Westinghouse L-641 Wood Table Tube Radio – Made in USA. Radio will tune into stations, but the volume is low and cannot be raised. 16″ long 9″ wide 10 tall.
The FM band tunes in several stations and sounds very good. This unit looks pretty nice. It is heavy, weighing 15.98 pounds according to my digital scales, as it sits. The internal workings, as well as the cabinet will need to be cleaned. The model number may be 3586, not positive, since I did not find the model number on the radio. I found some information on the internet that showed two different years of manufacture. One was 1959, the other1963.
Up for sale is a very nice unrestored 1939 Emerson model DB296 Tube radio. Unit powers up and received signal, sound strong and clear. Case is in VG condition it does have a few very small scratches here and there. All knobs and dials work as they should.
This is a vintage Firestone AIR CHIEF No. I believe it dates to the early 1950′s and has a nice Streamline style. Ivory white case is bakelite I think and is about perfect. Very little wear at all. Radio works perfectly and has good sound and reception.
The Vintage Bulova Fidelity Model 300 Table Top Tube Radio is a classic example of mid-20th century design and technology. Bulova, a brand more commonly associated with watches, also produced a range of high-quality radios in the 1950s and 1960s. This particular model is notable for its elegant ivory-colored body with a distinctive gold grille, giving it a stylish, retro appearance. As a tube radio, the Bulova Fidelity Model 300 uses vacuum tubes to amplify sound, which was the standard technology before the advent of transistor radios. These radios were appreciated for their warm sound quality and are now highly collectible, especially in good working condition. The combination of the ivory case and gold grille makes this model particularly attractive to collectors of vintage electronics and mid-century modern decor.
Case is a bit scratched up, but overall radio looks pretty good. Measurements are often in the pictures.
