1933 Vintage Philco Superheterodyne tube radio model 60 in working condition

The model number is 60. This radio works when plugged in and warms up. It is still hard to tune in a lot of radio stations. There is several scratches and wear marks on the outer wood case. This radio shows usage and wear and tear. The original electrical cord works but it has exposed wire in one spot and should be replaced before using the radio. There is some stains on the front speaker cover. This is a cool looking radio. The radio measures 13″ wide X 16″ tall X 8.5 long. The model number is 8T and it has Police, Aircraft and shortwave dials. Both lights in the face light up when it’s turned on. This radio works when plugged in and warms up. This radio is 8 x 13 x 18 tall; RCA Model 5T. The veneer is coming off in places; one piece of trim missing on front, top is coming off; examine photo carefully. Needs work, but the wood underneath could be refinished; all wooden knobs are missing; heavy; no idea if it works or not; see photos; as is; needs major clean up; great project piece! Power comes on but the radio does not receive. Radio may require a replacement antennae as there is a frayed wire protruding through the back cover. There are some minor scratches on the wooden cabinet. Some wear is apparent on the front speaker cover. Back cover and bottom show wear commensurate with age. Power cord appears to have been replaced. Overall this radio looks good for its age. Cosmetically it’s in nice condition. Radio features a folding metal handle on top and volume and station selector controls on the front. With some TLC, this radio could become a real collector’s item. Radio cabinet measures 10.5″ in length x 8.5″ in height x 6 in depth. Weight is 9 lbs, 8 oz. Please refer to photos for a more detailed description.
