VINTAGE RARE DEWALD MODEL A-501 TUBE RADIO. The Radio is in as found condition, the original cord is frayed and needs to be replaced. I cant say if it works or not because I cant plug it in the way it is. The Radio measures 9-3/4″ Long, 5-1/2″ Deep, & 6-1/2 Tall. The case has some minor scuffs and scratches but no cracks or major damage. The Dial Face appears to have been replaced compared to the other radios have seen in this model. One of the top collectable Catalin radios made by Motorola 50-X. Sometimes referred to as the Circle Grill radio. Nice marbled green case with oatmeal colored trim pieces. For condition see Condition Description, note bottom has small stress crack, probably from an over tightened screw, does not travel to the side. Not in working condition. Low and reasonable reserve. Zenith vintage tube radio 6D312 works great restored electronics Art Deco style

THIS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ZENITH RADIO, MODEL 6D312, MADE IN 1938 IS IN VERY NICE WORKING CONDITION. IT’S ELECTRONICS HAVE BEEN RESTORED AND IT PLAYS VERY WELL WITH GOOD SOUND QUALITY. THE POWER CORD HAS BEEN REPLACED AND IT IS NOW SAFE TO USE EVERY DAY. THE BAKELITE CABINET IS NICE AND SHINY WITH NO CRACKS OR DAMAGE. THERE IS A SMALL FLAW ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CABINET NEXT TO ONE OF THE CHASSIS MOUNTING SCREW HOLES. IT IS A SURFACE CHIP THAT HAS BEEN REPAIRED. THE CHIP IS ONLY ON THE SURFACE OF THE BAKELITE, THERE IS NO REPAIR OR DAMAGE ON THE INSIDE OF THE CABINET. THIS FLAW IS VERY MINOR AND NOT REALLY WORTH MENTIONING, BUT I WANTED YOU TO KNOW ABOUT IT FOR CONDITION ACCURACY. ONE OF THE KNOBS HAS A CHIP ON IT’S EDGE, IT IS NOT BAD AT ALL, BUT IT IS NOTICEABLE. THE ORIGINAL DIAL LENS IS CLEAR AND THE GOLD COLORED DIAL LIGHTS UP BEAUTIFULLY AT NIGHT. IT DOES NOT SHOW IN THE PICTURES BUT THE FOUR RUBBER FEET ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CABINET HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH NEW ONES. I PUT THEM ON AFTER THE PICTURES WERE TAKEN. THIS VERY DESIRABLE ZENITH IS JUST A PERFECT REFLECTION OF THE ART DECO STYLE THAT HAS BECOME SO POPULAR. THIS MODEL IS ALWAYS IN DEMAND BY COLLECTORS, AND NICE EXAMPLES ARE GETTING HARD TO FIND, SO DON, T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN THIS GREAT PIECE OF RADIO DESIGN HISTORY. THE RADIO MEASURES 12 LONG, 7.5 HIGH, 6.5 DEEP. THE RADIO DOES HAVE SOME STATIC WHEN PLAYING. IT IS NOT CONSTANT OR REALLY BAD, JUST A LITTLE ANNOYING. THE STATIC IS MOST PROBLEMATIC WHEN THE RADIO IS FIRST TURNED ON. THE STATIC TENDS TO GO AWAY AFTER A LITTLE WHILE OF PLAYING. THE SOUND QUALITY IS STILL VERY NICE AND CLEAR. IT MAY JUST BE A TUBE GOING BAD. I HAVE USED THIS RADIO OFTEN WITH NO PROBLEMS. IT WAS PUT IN STORAGE FOR SEVERAL YEARS, AND I JUST RECENTLY STARTED USING IT AGAIN. THIS IS WHEN THE STATIC STARTED. AGAIN THE STATIC IS NOT CONSTANT OR REALLY BAD JUST A LITTLE ANNOYING. 1930′s Gilfillan Mini Cathedral Tube Radio Very nice Condition. Very nice 1930′s tube radio from the Gilfillan Bros. The cabinet is in excellent condition, as are the 3 original knobs. The speaker grill cloth has been replaced, however, the original cloth, which was torn, is still in place under the new cloth. The old capacitors and bad resistors, and dial lamp bulb were replaced. The power cord was replaced with a modern, but vintage style one with cloth covering. The radio powers up fine, but I can only receive one or two stations without a long antenna cord. The tubes have not been checked, as at the time I did not have a tube tester that would check the older style tubes. With very minor tlc from somebody familiar with these radios, it will be a good performer. It measures 9.5″ wide x 12.5″ tall. Overall, a very nice example of a Gilfillan Mini Cathedral radio. Please ask questions or request additional photos if needed so you know exactly what you will be receiving. Being an electronic item, I can only guarantee what I have stated in the ad.
